Matthew created CrossThought to do a couple of things. (1) To promote discussion on relevant topics that pertain to orthodox Christianity, (2) challenge the humanist-prone culture, and (3) to defend the Christian faith in an intellectual, revelatory fashion. There are many ideologies that haunt the American culture–that is, there are many worldviews that challenge the Judeo-Christian mindset. So as a Christian, I felt the need (and, indeed, heeded the call) to create a ministry that would help defend the Christian faith as it was handed down from the apostles.
Matthew earned his B.A. in philosophy from the University of Central Oklahoma and has completed several graduate-level courses at both the University of Oklahoma and Biola University. Matthew is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity with an emphasis on New Testament Exegesis and Exposition from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
